Creative Arts Ministry (CAM)

            CAM is a new ministry which will begin this year to include Dance, Drama, Signing, and a Puppet Team.  This ministry will grow as children, youth, and adults begin to pray for and join us to have an outstanding children's ministry.                     

Goal: 

To provide young people within the Sheldon Church family, and community the opportunity to learn about Jesus in fun and exciting ways to prepare them in their service to God.

Our children's programs will not be a "baby sitting" time; each one will be a class of learning with fun and activities involved.  Leaders will present the gospel and missions reports to excite and promote missions around the world.  In the time. teachers will use varied ways to teach chidlren through Scripture learning, projects, puppets, dance, games, and in the love of Christ Jesus. 

Each child will learn in a safe and secure environment with several adult teachers and more if needed based on class size.

Each class invites parents the opportunity to take advantage of the adult Discipleship Training classes for their own spiritual growth.  If parent's wishing to remain with their children to enhance their personal time together would be great.

Jesus made it plain to His disciples and to us today that children are very much special to Him.  When we don't seek them out and provide them with opportunities to learn and be loved, then we fail them.  We also fail them in our witness about Jesus.

No matter the method, the message of Jesus Christ and the word of God will be the central focus.
